Technical Support

The members in this unit conduct all training for Police members and civilian staff regarding Records Management Software (RMS), Computer Aided Dispatch (CAD), Mobile Report Entry (MRE), Mobile Data Terminals (MDT), Forensics Imaging Management System (FIMS), LiveScan Fingerprint System.

They also provide technical support, customization, and monitor quality control for all the different components and systems listed above. They maintain the various servers and laptop computers, which are inside each Police and Bylaw vehicle. They are liaisons on technical issues relating to our software vendors with other City Departments and other Police agencies.
