Medicine Hat Police Service is currently accepting Auxiliary Police applications. Deadline is May 5th.
What is the Role of the Auxiliary Officer?
Auxiliary Officers are assigned to a Patrol Crew assisting them at all regular calls, checkstops and special events. Auxiliary members receive on-going training through-out their tenure with the Service. Read more about the Auxiliary Police Program.
How Do I Join?
The recruitment process includes the submission of a letter of intent, a personal resume, completing a lifestyles questionnaire, Personal Disclosure document (required), a physical test (PARE) and a polygraph test. It is the intent of the Medicine Hat Police Service to access two distinct groups of people. Those looking to use the Auxiliary Police Program as a stepping stone to employment in the law enforcement field, and those citizens of the community that were wishing to provide a community service.
