THEFT - AUTOMOBILE

Sometime over over night unkown person(s) entered the construction of home depot located at the extreme South end of Dumore road and stole a Mack water truck. The truck was driven down the Black and White trail where it became stuck in the West ditch. The truck sustained extensive damage and required the use of several pieces of industrial equipment to extricate it from the ditch. The resulting crash took out a portion of barb wire fence which
allowed the escape of some horses as well.

A further examination of the job site revealed that the subjects had also tried to steal a Bob Cat tractor and broke the window on another truck in an attempt to steal it. A damage estimate is not available at this time however the damage to the water struck is expected to be in the thousands of dollars.

Anyone with information on this crime is urged to call the city police, or Crimestoppers.
