Shop Breaking: Boylan Drugs 407 7 St SW. Time: 11:00 PM

At around 11PM June 29,2004 a passing motorist observed a male trying to pry open the front door of Boylan drugs, and called police. Upon police arrival a male person mathcing the description was found at the West edge of the strip mall and was taken into custody. At the time of arrest the subject was carrying a long metal pry bar. A further search of the suspect unocovered a large butcher knife tucked in his shirt.

Police have in custody a 41 year old male awaiting a bail hearing later today. He is facing charges of Attempted shop breaking, possession of shop breaking tools, and possession of a weapon dangerous to the public. The male is of no fixed address.
Damage to the building is estimated at $300.00
