On 24 September 2005 members of the Special operations unit arrested a male suspected of drug trafficking. A search of the suspect revealed apprx: 1/2 pound of marihuana as well as a quantity of hashish and hash oil.

Further investigation resulted in the location of a suspect vehicle in which the suspect had been riding in. Three subjects were arrested and and a 1/2 pound of Marihuana was seized. Following these arrests a search warrant was obtained for a the house of the 1st male accused.

The search of the house resulted in the seizure of 4 pounds of Marihuana, 10 ounces of hashish, drug related items, a loaded firearm, and a large amount of cash.

5 individuals including two youth are charged with a variety of drug related offences The Two young offenders are released on bail and will appear in youth court on 26 September 2005

The Adult subjects are

Wade Mandryk age 23 of Medicine Hat, is charged with Trafficking in a controlled substance. Possession for the purpose of trafficking, proceeds of crime, unsafe storage of a firearm, and possession of a weapon dangersous to the public. He is to appear in court on 27 September 2005 and remains in custody

Jason Roberts age 23, of Medicine Hat, is charged with possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking, and proceeds of crime and is to appear in court on the 27 of September 2005

Kyla Boschee age 19, of Medicine Hat, is charged with Possession of a Controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking, proceeds of crime,possession of a weapon dangerous to the public, and unsafe storage of a firearm. She is released on bail and is to appear in court on 04 October 2005.
