BREAK/ENTER
800-850 A 3 ST SE

Text Release Date and Time: 2006-09-12 13

During the early morning hours of Sunday September 10, a potential intruder
broke a screen covering a rear facing window of a home and stuck his head
inside. He yelled an obscenity and then fled, waking up the two young girls
that had been sleeping in the room. The third child, a male was not awoken by
the commotion. The young male is described as having short hair.

No entry was made to the residence during this incident other than the culprit
sticking his head in and yelling. All residents to the home are physically
well, however they are shaken by this drastic invasion to their privacy and
safety.

With the beginning of the school year it always a good time to sit down with
your children and go over some basic safety rules with them. The Medicine City
Police Service regularly attends to area schools to provide safety lectures
and talks. Should anyone require a police officer attend their
class or school, please call Sgt. Randy Youngman at 529-8451 to arrange for a
time.

Anyone with any information that could lead to the arrest of the culprit
please contact Medicine Hat Police Service.
