Sometime between midnight and 0700 am on October 11, 2006 a garage in the 000
block of 8 St SE was entered and approximately $3000 worth of power tools was
stolen. At about this same time, a few houses away a vehicle had its driver's
window smashed and steering column damaged in an attempt to steal the vehicle.
Again, an additional occurrence was reported a few houses further away that a
blue 1984 Chev S10 pickup truck was stolen with Alberta personalized license
plate GARDENS.
