On Oct.19 at approximately 15:47, a 2006 silver Ford Fusion, a rental vehicle
out of British Columbia, was stopped eastbound on the Trans-Canada Highway.
The driver of the vehicle first presented himself to the officer s someone he
is not and while the police officer was in his own vehicle checking on the
identity, the driver of the rental vehicle drove off.

The driver was again apprehended near the intersection of 13 ave. and
Trans-Canada Way SE without incident. Subsequently the vehicle was seized and
searched and the 21 year old male is currently facing charges of sec.403(a) CC
Personation to gain advantage, sec. 369(B) possession of instruments of
forgery and others. This case is still under active investigation. Sgt. Randy
