At the conclusion of the "Firearms Amnesty", 100 guns of various types had
been collected, as well as several hundred rounds of old and assorted
ammunition. The majority of the firearms were long guns, rifles and shotguns
with 9 handguns and 14 pellet guns turned in as part of the overall total. The
public expressed their gratitude at this avenue made available for them to get
rid of their unwanted firearms, as it isn't the sort of item you can just
