On December 4 th 2006 a 24 year old male was attacked with a beer bottle in
the washrooms of "Gringo's Bar" at 3216 13th ave SE by another male. The
attacker stuck the male victim about the head twice and proceeded to rob him
of $500 cash before fleeing the scene. The male victim was treated at the
scene by EMS and released. The subsequent police investigation resulted in
police locating and arresting a 24 year local male. This male will be charged
with robbery and assault with a weapon and will appear before a justice of the
peace for a bail hearing later today.
