On December 28, 2006 at about 0100 hrs. the Medicine Hat Ambulance Service was
traveling east in the 600 block of 1 St. SE responding to a call. A 1991
Toyota was traveling north on South Railway St. SE and was intending on making
a right turn onto 1 St. The Toyota was unable to stop and entered the 1 St.
SE intersection and was struck by the eastbound ambulance. Both the driver of
the car and the driver of the ambulance were transported from the scene to the
hospital for examination. Damage is estimated to both vehicles at about
$20,000. Status of both patients is not known at the time of this report.
The weather at the time of the collision was a factor in the collision.
