Suspect reports vehicle stolen, after he stole the vehicle from Ontario

David MARTEL age 22 yr, giving a false name, reported his truck stolen from
the Callaghan Inn @954 7 St SW. He had picked up two hitchhikers in Thunder
Bay, Ontario and they had now apparently stolen his green 1994 Dodge pickup
with Ontario Plates. The vehicle was spotted at the Wendy's at 2375 Trans
Canada Way SE. When the VIN was queried by Police, it was discovered that i t
was already reported stolen out of Thunder Bay, Ontario. MARTEL, as well as
the hitchhikers Marc-Andre MOREAU age 29 and Maxime MOREAU age 27, were a ll
taken into custody and charged accordingly.
