On Wednesday, August 22, 2007 at about 11:04PM police took the report of a
stolen 1990 Ford Taurus from the Ross Glen area. At 11:15PM police responded
to a break and enter at 20/20 Vision Care located at 431 3 St SE. The front
window was smashed out and a large number of eyewear and headwear was stolen.
At 11:49PM police located the stolen Ford Taurus in Crescent Heights. Two
males ages 26 and 32 were arrested in the vehicle and are facing charges of
Break, Enter and Theft and Possession of Property Obtained by Crime. Over
$14,000 worth of stolen property was recovered. The 26 year old male is also
facing another charge of Theft with relation to the theft of money from the
Medicine Hat Lodge on August 20, 2007. The males will be in court Thursday
August 23, 2007.
