On August 23, 2007 at 9:20PM a 2005 Medicine Hat Police Service Crown Victoria
was stopped at a red light on the Trans Canada Highway at 7 ST SW when it was
rear ended by a 2003 Pontiac Sunfire. The 25 year old police officer and 27
year old Auxiliary Constable in the police vehicle received minor injuries.
The 55 year old driver of the Sunfire also received minor injuries. The
collision is still under investigation. Total damage is estimated at $25,000.
