The Medicine Hat Police Service and South Eastern Alberta Traffic Safety Coalition would like to spot light the current recall of child car seats currently on-going . This is a very broad and sweeping recall and parents should realize that their child's lives may one day depend on the car seat they are riding in.

These seats were marketed under the names of COSCO, EDDIE BAUER AND SAFETY 1ST over the past two years. To date over 100 defective seats have been found in Medicine Hat alone and we're sure there are many more out there.

Consumers who have completed and returned their registration card will receive notice by mail. Those who have not sent in the registration card should contact Dorel Distribution Canada at the toll free number (1-800-219-0540) or via email at aopublicnotice@djgusa.com.
