On October 8, 2007 at approximately 1750 hours, police responded to a report
of a person shooting windows out of vehicles in the area of NE Crescent Hei
ghts. Police located the offending vehicle leaving the scene and conducted a
high risk vehicle stop on the Maple Avenue Bridge. 3 persons were located in
the vehicle and were taken into custody. Two were later released without
charges. It was determined that a pellet gun was used to shoot out the vehic
le window. Two pellet guns were seized from the vehicle and a 23 year old lo
cal man is facing charges of mischief and possession of a weapon dangerous.
