On Monday, October 8, 2007 at about 7:15PM a male suspect did rob Hat News and
Tobacco located at 73 - 7 St NE. The male was in possession of a knife. The
male is described as a young white male, 5'5", thin build wearing a long
sleeved shirt with stripes or lettering on the sleeves, dark pants and dark
coloured bandana. A male employee was injured in an altercation with the
suspect and was taken to hospital for treatment. The suspect left with
undisclosed property from the store. Anyone with information on this crime is
asked to call police or crimestoppers.
