On October 18, 2007 at about 4:00PM a 2007 Ford pickup truck being driven by a 50 year old male was travelling west on 2 St SE and attempted to turn right onto 5 Ave SE. The pickup struck a 60 year old female pedestrian in the crosswalk. The female was taken to hospital for undetermined injuries. The driver of the pickup was charged with failing to yield to a pedestrian.
