On October 25, 2007 the Medicine Hat Police Service executed a Controlled
Drugs and Substances Act warrant on a room at a local motel. Three persons
were taken into custody. A 37 year old male, 42 year old female and a 16 year
old youth all face charges that include Possession of Cocaine for the Purpose
of trafficking, proceeds of crime, breach of recognizance, and possession of a
prohibited weapon. The total value of the drugs and cash seized is about
$2800.00.
