Between November and December 7th, 2007, the Special Operations Unit began a
drug investigation into cocaine trafficking in the City of Medicine Hat.
This Operation lead to the arrested of several persons for cocaine trafficking
and possession for the purpose of trafficking cocaine from Wade Morrison,
Darnell MATSUI, and Kayla MOCKFORD.
On the 7th of December 2007 members of the Special Operations Unit arrested
Darnell MATSUI and MOCKFORD at the Sobeys on Strachan Road SE Medicine Hat and
located a quantity of cocaine and a large amount of cash money.
Members of the Special Operations Unit the arrested two persons at the Mac's
on 20th St NE. JOHNSON and MORRISON were both arrested and found in possession
of a large amount of cocaine.
Members of the Medicine Hat Police Service then attended to a residence in
Riverside and arrested a male Derrick MARTIN for possession of proceeds of
crime.
Total drugs seized during investigation are 115.61 Grams with an estimated
valued of $9200.00.
Total cash money seized during investigation is $10,255.00

JOHNSON has been released from custody on conditions. All accused are
in-custody pending Bail hearings at provincial court.

On the 12th of December, 2007 members of the Medicine Hat Police Service Spe
cial Operations Unit, located and arrested three outstanding accused males f
or Trafficking cocaine.
Justin YUHAS 18 years old has been charged with one count of Trafficking
Cocaine Offence Date November 30th, 2007.
Morgan EMERY 23 years old has been charged with one count of Trafficking
Cocaine Offence Date December 6th, 2007.
Henry EMERY 41 years old has been charged with one count of Trafficking
Cocaine Offence Date December 6th, 2007.
All subjects will appear in court on 2007 December 13 at 0930 hrs.
