On the Evening of December 18, 2007 members of the Medicine Hat Police Service Special Operations Unit, Tactical Team and Patrol team officers executed a CDSA search warrant in the 600 block of 8 Street SW in Medicine Hat, Alberta. As a result of this search a sawed off 12 gauge shotgun and matching ammunition was recovered. Two Medicine Hat residence remain in custody and face several criminal charges. The investigation is still ongoing.
