At 12:45 a.m., January 16th, 2008, the Medicine Hat Police Service were dispatched to a local nightclub located off of 7th Street S.W. for a report of a male therein possessing what was interpreted to be a tazor trying to pick fights.

Members of the Medicine Hat Police Service attended shortly thereafter. They were able to locate and arrest the 25 year old local man and recover the confirmed prohibited weapon.

The Medicine Hat man is currently in remand awaiting a bail hearing to speak to potential charges of Possession of a Weapon Dangerous to Public Peace and Possession of a Prohibited Weapon while prohibited from doing so.
