On the evening of January 17th 2008 members of the Medicine Hat Police Service Special Operations Unit received information which lead to a search warrant being executed at a residence in the 00 block of 4 Street Northeast. As a result of the warrant 4.5 ounces of crack cocaine was seized with an estimated street value of $10,100. In addition to this about $10,000 cash was seized and a prohibited weapon, being bear spray, was located. Police have charged Richard Stanley Flohr with possession for the purpose of trafficking, proceeds of crime, and possession of a prohibited weapon. Flohr will make his first court appearance March 11, 2008.
