** Update ** Members of the Medicine Hat Police Service located the Chevrolet Dully 4X4 p ickup truck parked in the Riverside area. Inquires in the area resulted in one person being arrested and they are currently in police custody. The investigation is continuing. Both the truck and licence plate are confirmed to be stolen out of Calgary.

Today, January 24 at approx 5:30am Medicine Hat Police were involved in a pursuit of a white Chevrolet Dully 4X4 pickup truck. The licence plate ERP 474 was confirmed as stolen out of Calgary. The truck attempted to avoid police and after a short pursuit, it came to a stop in an alley off of 4 Ave SW. As officers where approaching the vehicle, it reversed and rammed one the police vehicles. The truck then fled the area but was later spotted by police in the SW hill area. Police terminated the pursuit due to public safety as vehicles and pedestrians were moving around in the area.

The truck is also responsible for a hit and run in the 400 Blk of 3 St SE. A vehicle and city planter and were damaged.

Police are requesting the public to be on the look out for a white Chevrolet Dully 4X4 pickup truck possibly with licence ERP 474. The vehicle will have extensive damage and will be missing a mud flap. Do not approach the vehicle! Contact police immediately.
