On February 21, 2008 at 8:55pm the Medicine Hat Police, Fire and EMS attended to 7 ST SW at Redcliff Dr SW to an injury Motor Vehicle collision involving a 2006 Dodge Charger and a Tractor Trailer tanker. The Dodge Charger was Northbound on Redcliff Dr at a high speed and failed to stop at the stop sign at 7 St SW colliding with the tanker trailer as it attempted to make a left turn from 7 St SW onto Redcliff Dr SW.

All 4 adult occupants of the Charger were treated at Medicine Hat Regional hospital with minor injuries. Alcohol and Drug use was a factor for the driver of the Charger.

Damage is estimated at $22,000.00. The tanker was carrying vegetable oil and did not spill any of its product. Charges are pending against the driver of the car. The operator, and lone occupant of the tractor trailer tanker was not injured.
