On April 28, 2008 at about 3:45PM emergency crews responded to the South Saskatchewan River after receiving reports of a person in the river. Investigation revealed that a 58 year old female had fallen into the river from Finley Bridge. A citizen secured the female and was then assisted by emergency crews in removing the person from the water. The female was transported to hospital and was found to suffer no injuries. This incident is not considered to be suspicious or criminal in nature. S/Sgt. Fentiman
