On May 10, 2008 at approximately 9:00PM a male entered the New Heights Convenience store located on 12 ST NW and committed a robbery. The male indicated the had a weapon but none was seen. The male made off with cash. Police located a suspect male fleeing into a residence in this same area. After two hours of negotiations the male surrender to police. Christopher Ashby 25 years of age has been charged with robbery and is set to appear in court on 2008-05-12.
