In the past month there has been extensive damage done to the Riverside Waterslide Park with estimated damages between $30,000-$40,000. On June 17, 2008 The Medicine Hat Police apprehended two youths from this location who may be responsible for the damages. Police are still investigating.

Police Investigation identified 7 youths between the ages of 15 and 17 years
old who were responsible for the recent damage caused to the Riverside Wate
rpark.

2 youths were charged with Mischief under $5000
Court Date August 18 2008

5 Youths were charged with trespassing
Specified Penalty under the Provincial Trespass to Premises Act
Paid by Aug 18 2008
