On August 30, 2009, at approximately 0200 hours, police were dispatched to a
suspicious male complaint in the 300 block of 3 St. SE. A 25 year old male
was located in the alley covered in blood. It is believed the male was
assaulted with a weapon at an unknown location. The male suffered a head
injury with lacerations to his head and chest. He is currently being treated
for his injuries in hospital and this point is not able to provide police with
much detail regarding the circumstances. Anyone having information
regarding this occurrence is asked to contact the Medicine Hat Police Service
or Crimestoppers.
