a suspicious vehicle that may have followed a grade 5 student home from a
school bus stop on Wednesday afternoon (2009 September 9). The incident
occurred
in the Northwest Cresent Heights area of Medicine Hat.
Police were notified today (2009 September 11) that the grade 5 student
was walking up the front steps of student's house and observed a newer black
truck driving past the house. The driver, a male, made eye contact with the
student then braked hard and parked across from the house.
The student went into their house, locked the front door, and peeked out the

While at the front door the unknown male knocked and rang the doorbell.
The student did not open the door and the unknown male then walked back to his truck and drove away.
The truck is described as a newer black 4 door pickup with chrome step sides.
The truck had a white 20lb propane bottle in the box and was also carrying
10-15 wood planks that were sticking out the back of the truck box.

that was short in the front and longer in the back covering his ears, he was
5'10"-6' tall weighing about 200 lbs he was not wearing glasses and did not
have any facial hair.
At this time police do not know if this incident is merely a mistaken address
