News Release from CFSEU:
1. On the evening of September 11 2009 members of CFSEU arrested two males for
trafficking in powdered MDMA. One male was a youth and the other was Chris
MITCHELL of Medicine Hat. A CDSA search warrant was executed at a Medicine
Hat residence and as a result of the warrant 6.5 ounces of MDMA was seized.
Both males were charged with trafficking and possession for the purpose
of trafficking in MDMA. The total street value of drugs seized is $ 10,800.00
2. Also on Sept 11, 2009 CFSEU conducted another street level purchase of MDMA
from 3 males. Jeremy LEWIS, a male youth and JEAN DUSSAULT. All three were
arrested upon the purchase of the MDMA. As a result CFSEU seized another½ an
ounce of MDMA which is valued at $780.00. All males were charged with
trafficking & Possession for the purpose of MDMA.
3. On the evening of Sept 11, 09 CFSEU was conducting surveillance on
Derek PAWLICK of Lethbridge, Alberta and who was observed to commit a
commercial break and enter in the industrial area in Northwest Crescent
Heights. CFSEU along with Uniform patrols arrested PAWLICK as he left the
scene and found him in possession of numerous stolen auto accessories worth
several thousand dollars. PAWLICK was charged with Break, Enter and theft and
possession of crack cocaine.
