On 27 October 2009 at about 9:40 pm, a caucasion male enetered and robbed the
Safeway gas bar located at the Medicine Hat Mall. The male was wearing a black
and red mask and demanded money and cigarettes. A weapon was seen, but not
used. The clerks were not injured. The culprit made off with an undisclosed
amount of money and cigarettes. He was last observed heading north behind the
Safeway gas bar. The suspect is described as late teens to early 20's,
5'4" to 5'6", thin build and wearing a dark hoodie, blue jeans, and white
shoes.
