Sexual Assault / Sexual Interference
The Medicine Hat Police Service, Major Crime Section has arrested a 23 year old
male after a complex sexual assault investigation.
In October of 2009 a Sexual Assault presentation was given to a group of young
teenage females at a local school. After the presentation two females
approached Staff members at the school indicating that they had both been
sexually assaulted by a 23 year old male in 2009.
Members of the Major Crime section conducted an exhaustive investigation and
have arrested and charged 23 year old Kristopher DUTCHAK of Medicine Hat,
Alberta. DUTCHAK has been charged with 2 counts of Sexual Assault, 2 counts of
Sexual Interference and one count of Anal Intercourse. DUTCHAK was released
from Custody by way of Bail Hearing, and has several strict conditions placed
upon his release. DUTCHAK is to appear in Medicine Hat Provincial Courton Nov
12, 2009 to answer to charges.
As a result of the investigation, Police have also received complaints
from more teenage victims to similar fact offences involving the same accused
and
are currently investigating those offences. Police request if anyone has any
