Stolen Vehicle and Evade Police
On 2009-11-19 at about 11:43 am police observed a stolen car at 4th ST and
Division Ave South. When the driver noticed the police car behind him the car
sped away. Police did not pursue due to the traffic in the area and the car
fled into the downtown area. The stolen car was observed by another police car
responding into the area. The stolen car was observed on Kingsway and turned
into the 800 block of 7 St and moments later located unoccupied at 8 St
and 8Ave SE and both occupants fleeing from the vehicle.
Police took two males into custody within a block of the dumped stolen auto.
