Scam Alert
An ad was placed in a local paper asking for resumes for employment and to fax
your resume to a company called "insight business consultant". The phone number given never gets answered but when you send your resume
you're your mailing address on it, the fake company sends you a fake cheque
that as part of joining their fake team send them some money before cashing
the
fake cheques.
The local paper on their own accord added a huge warning on this add to assist
the Medicine Hat Police Service to inform the public of this scam
Tip
If you ever receive a cheque and are asked to send money prior to cashing the
cheque
it is usually a fraud
