December 16, 2009 - Chief for a Day
The Medicine Hat Police Service has a new Chief today! This morning
Milvia Bauman was sworn in as honorary Chief for a Day. Milvia received this
honour by being the successful bidder at the Denim and Diamonds fundraising
event
held by the Southeastern Alberta United Way on November 12, 2009.
Milvia has a full day scheduled for her today as she learns the ropes as
leader of the Service. Events include: an introduction to forensic
identification, a polygraph examination, taser and firearms training.
