Medicine Hat Lodge Casino. For a report of a male that had been assaulted and was unconscious. Upon attendance Police observed a British Soldier assaulting another British Soldier, by head butting him in the face and them kicking him in the head as he lay on the ground. Members of the Medicine Hat Police Service then attempted to apprehend the suspect as he fled the scene. A Short foot chase ensured and the suspect wasarrested without incident. Police have a22 year old Soldier in custody for this offence. Charges are pending with the British Military Police. The victim of this offence was transported to the Medicine Hat Regional Hospital and found to have a Brain Bleed. There are no injuris as a result of the collision, but a large amount of oil was spilled onto the roadway.
