Speed has been determined to be an aggravating factor in all crashes.
Somedrivers think driving a few kilometers an hour over the posted speed limit
is an acceptable risk because they believe the worst that can happen is
receiving a ticket. They are wrong. As speed increases road users are less
able to react to other road user's actions or detect hazards.

2011-09-14 MHPS News - SCAMS

After receiving some recent complaints, the Medicine Hat Police Service is
once again warning the public to never send money or provide personal
information to an unknown person. Scam artists will often advise an
unsuspecting individual that they have won large sums of money and to claim
their prize they only need to provide personal information. This is typically
a telephone and/or internet site scam designed to have the unsuspecting individual
provide them their banking and other personal information. With these scams
it is often very difficult for police to lay criminal charges or prosecute as the
accused persons in these matters often lives in another country.

often moving in several different directions at an intersection, which
creates a high risk of a collision. Inattentive drivers, reckless drivers,
